I joined Malik House Business Centres in January 2014 as an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. This was my first job after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Accountancy. I was quickly taken on as a permanent member of the team and since then I have been involved in managing all aspects of Purchase Ledger for the group as well as liaising with new clients and invoicing.
Two years on, I am now the Senior Accounts Assistant and it’s the perfect role for me as I am now more heavily involved in all aspects of accounting, including VAT returns and managing all supplier and client accounts. The guidance and support I have received from Malik House has really helped me to develop my accounting skills and knowledge and learn how to build lasting relationships with clients.
With the support of Malik House, this year I aim to start working towards my ACCA qualification.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends.
