I left school in 2013 and jumped straight into working in call centres around Bradford. After realising that making outbound sales calls was not the career path that I wanted, I went on to try and gain as much experience as I could in other areas. Firstly, I volunteered at the Bradford Counselling Service doing administration. After that I became involved with in Too Work where I agreed to finding myself a placement to gain more experience which led me to Malik House Business Centres.

I joined Malik House Business Centres doing a short work placement on reception which I chose as I like to meet and greet people and I enjoy having a varied day. The placement also gave me the opportunity to develop networking skills at the monthly Yorkshire Enterprise Network (YEN) events. Once my placement was over I was then offered an apprenticeship position with the company in Business Administration which I was delighted to accept. Since then I have started my apprenticeship and I am hoping to complete and pass my qualification and develop further within the Malik House group of businesses over the next few years.
